Keds Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Keds introduces its Spring/Summer 2013 Women’s Collection which takes inspiration from Keds’ American roots to the culture vibrancy of globalization, and a spring fling in Miami Beach. Global Beat is an off-take on the confluence of culture brought about globalization, which also influences fashion trends.  On the other hand, American Splendor is a revival - an ode to a classic, pioneering spirit of America; while Ocean Drive is resplendent of the mid-century holidays with the glam set, reminiscent of a fun, bright, beach story.

American Splendor – A Revival of American Classics

Every Spring, American classics are revived with a nod to nautical sport. For 2013, Keds’ nautical theme offers America’s interpretation of French seaside style. The sporty mood happening in fashion is captured with retro tennis, croquet and golf influences. A true American palette is injected with the season’s pretty pastels while fun dot and gingham prints embody the true prep spirit of the trend.
