An eyeliner is one of the oldest and most important eye make up tools ever invented. Ancient Egyptians like Cleopatra, used an eyeliner not only to enhance the beauty of her eyes but also to protect them from evil eyes, to deflect light and for antibacterial purposes (source: iconiclook.com).
