Check out this super cool and chic "window-shopping" site that I found.....
It's called miss-match.com.ph and it's basically a "window-shopping" and virtual styling site, right up your alley! They feature the current collections of locally available fashion and beauty brands, and users can mix and match items to create their looks. You can also share your looks with others! So, how cool is that :)
It's called miss-match.com.ph and it's basically a "window-shopping" and virtual styling site, right up your alley! They feature the current collections of locally available fashion and beauty brands, and users can mix and match items to create their looks. You can also share your looks with others! So, how cool is that :)
On the site, you can browse
the latest fashion and beauty finds available locally, style your own looks on the fashion canvas, and share your looks with your style
network on the miss-match Fashion Feed (their version of a news feed). They have a
“love it” button (their version of “Like”), so the looks that get the most “love”
appear in the Top Looks section! You can also easily post your looks as your
“style status of the day” on your blog and favorite social networks!
This fab D-I-Y styling idea was inspired by
miss-match co-founder Chinggay
Labrador’s habit of taking photos of her clothes and mixing and matching them on
the computer to come up with the best, most efficient combinations to pack for
travel. Since other virtual styling sites on the Net feature items mostly
available abroad, Chinggay and her sisters-in-law Pia and Pierra decided to
create something especially for stylish Pinays!
To create a look, users can simply drag and
drop items to the “fashion canvas” in the Create My Look section. Users can
have fun experimenting with looks and expressing their personal style, and they
can even embellish their looks with artwork by featured local artists in the
Graphics section. Users can also browse items from the main Stock Room, and
build their virtual wardrobes by adding items to “My Closet.” The site doesn’t
offer online shopping at the moment (besides, Pinays really enjoy heading to the malls, checking out the stores and trying things out), BUT, if you like an item, simply check out
the Store Directory to find the branch nearest you.
The site also includes Style Ideas, a mini
editorial section that features tips and tricks from industry insiders, and
Perks & Promos page where subscribers can get freebies and join fun contests...simply sign up, it’s FREE :)
