Liliw Gat Tayaw Tsinelas Festival 2012

Whether you're a bazaarista, a shoe retailer, or just simply a lover of shoes....you may want to come to Liliw, Laguna for its annual Tsinelas Festival on Apr 30 - May 6, 2012!  You will not only be shopping for good-quality tsinelas (or slippers) but for trendy shoes, as well, at a very very low price! Liliw's Gat Tayaw Tsineles Festival is a colorful event that highlights the parade of floats featuring the agricultural and industrial products of Liliw, a parade of bird mascots reminding the people of the origin of the name “Liliw”.  Katutubong Palaro, Gabi ng Harana, musical arts and painting contests and the Gawad Parangal for outstanding Liliweños for their exemplary service to the community are among the highlight activities of the festival.  (source: tourism.gov.ph).  For more info, please contact The Office of the Mayor of Liliw, Laguna at (049) 563-1001.
