Nothing
beats shopping in Manila! Nothing beats the quality of the Philippines' local brands! Nothing beats the friendliness of the Filipino people! And nothing beats the prices, the bargains and smiles! But to make shopping more fun in the Philippines, I believe that The Dept. of Tourism has to organize an integrated sale event here where the malls, and the stores will go on sale (hotels should offer promos, as well) ALL at the same time. I think there was a time when DOT attempted to do this but I don't know why it didn't take off.
Singapore and Malaysia have this kind of what they call "unified
sale". Singapore has "The Great Singapore Sale" and Malaysia has
"The Mega Carnival Sale". But if you are just into hard-core
shopping, Malaysia’s Mega Carnival Sale is it! Why do I
think so? Well, because Malaysia basically has cheaper products and hotel
rates. Food is also cheaper
Malaysia’s Mega Carnival SALE 2012 will run on June 15 – Sept. 7, 2012. That means, 7 weeks of shopping frenzy! Let me share with you some photos from last year's ...
Did you know that Coach Bags will be manufactured here
in the Philippines? I hope they will also put up a Coach factory
outlet store here just like in Suzhou China.
Forever21 tops were as low RMB15 (around P210)...but sale items were
very limited. I can say that it's more fun in Forever 21 Philippines :)
My Thai friends told me that Shu Uemura is cheaper here in KL
than in Bangkok...so, that means something!

Xoxo bags were as low as MYR119 and Guess bags as low as MYR100.
I was able to buy a CK bag at around P3000 only...well, just
one of the few that I bought :))
