On September 15, 2012, CALLE BISTRO 2 will take you around the world through a revolutionized food bazaar that would bring together local and foreign cuisines in the Metro catering to young professionals and food enthusiasts to unwind, socialize and explore the rich oriental and western flavours. Proceeds will benefit UP JPIA’s Long-Term Educational Assistance Program (LEAP) scholarship fund and will provide financial support for our socio-civic activities.
Having over 1000 attendees last November 2011, UP JPIA’s Calle Bistro has indeed made a breakthrough in a widely-run, revolutionized food sale in the Metro! During the event, not only did the people indulge themselves in a huge variety of food selections but they also did enjoy the night with acoustic performances by Calle Bistro’s invited guests. Also, the food lovers who stopped to dine did not just go home with a full stomach, they even took home a lot of overflowing prizes from the raffle draws held during the night.
On its second year, Calle Bistro would be a place where families could spend valuable time together eating their hearts out in the delectable dishes featured in this Metro Food Fair. Young ones and kids-at-heart would unleash the spirited child inside them as they play in the arcade games/game booths. Visitors would be relaxed by the live bands performing acoustic music and delighted with complimentary drinks. Other activities that could fire up the excitement include eating contests, food-related games, a midnight revelation and raffle draws of sponsor items and giveaways. Visitors may also avail of freebies and sample products of event sponsors.
Calle Bistro2 aims to assist budding food retail brands and enterprises in promoting their products and to provide a one-of-a-kind food socialization experience where people from different walks of life can get a slice of the world right on their plates. This is a night of food adventure made more special as live bands serenade the visitors as they indulge in Calle Bistro. Games and raffle draws would also make it a night of fun and excitement for everyone.
This event will also assist food merchants engaged in selling the following food products to boost up their sales and promote their brands to the public consumers: Pinoy Delicacies, Foreign Cuisine, Exotic Dishes, Street Food, Grilled Products, Snacks and Beverages, Coffee and Tea Products, Ready-to-eat Meals, as well as Healthy and Organic Food.
