Great Finds at The Off Price Show 2012

If you're in for discount shopping, then The Off Price Show is it!  This 3-day shopping event features over a hundred lifestyle brands at 50%-80% off, following the selling concept of outlet stores and discount shopping chains in the US.  There was an Off Price Show last year, but this year's a lot bigger.

According to Darby Mcklintock, merchandise specialist for Prada in New York, and is also acting merchandise specialist for The Off-Price Show, “The show features both classic and trendy items, new and close-outs or overruns, at bargain prices.”   The Off-Price Show brings same discount retail concept in the US like the Filine’s Basement and Syms New York for Filipino shoppers eager to score a great deal at off-price mark, added Mcklintock.

Let my photos take you through this great shopping experience:

Registration was not a problem.  Entrance is FREE for BDO cardholders, holders of Ensogo vouchers and people who registered to The Off Price Show FB Page online.  If you don't have a BDO card, I encourage you to do the third option, otherwise you need to pay P100! At the registration booth, they will give you a sticker which will serve as your ID.
The venue layout was illustrated well by the big poster across the registration booth to save you time....so, if you're looking for just say, children's apparels, who will know where to look for them.

In the United States, discount shopping interest continues to rise following the recession and conservative buying patterns. Discount shopping centers are also fast becoming tourism destinations in different US states as discerning shoppers search for more value for their hard-earned bucks.

Other lifestyle brands featured in the show are Bershka, Pull & Bear, IKEA, Grid – It!. Hellolulu, LuxeAsia, Manhattan Portage plus other brand labels.

The Off-Price Show 2012 also features a fashion week vibe highlighted by pocket fashion shows and styling challenge for bloggers, and trained shopping assistants.

Some shopping tips from TOPS FB page...

The only downside here was the long queue, as with other major sale events...but I guess they have sorted this out...(I hope!)

You still have until tomorrow, Sept. 30, to shop! So, do check it out. For more information, visit the show’s Facebook Page at facebook/theoffpriceshow and via Twitter at twitter/theoffpriceshow.
