Gourmet Masterpieces at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls

In time for Resorts World Manila’s (RWM) EPIC SUMMER celebrations, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’s Gourmet Masterpieces, a parade of limited edition art-inspired dishes created by renowned chefs, was launched on April 18, 2013 at the Newport Mall Plaza. These art-inspired culinary concoctions are available for food lovers at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls dining establishments until May 2013.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, in partnership with the Asian Food Channel, have gathered selected dining outlets from participating malls for the launch of this exclusive month-long visual and culinary feast. Participating malls include Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila, Eastwood City, Venice Piazza, Burgos Circle at Forbestown Center, and Lucky Chinatown Mall.  Here are some of them:

Renowned RWM chefs Michael Lopez from Café Maxims, Cyrille Soenen from Impressions, David Wai Fung from Passions, and Antonio Ablay from Ginzadon were invited to conceptualize limited edition summer dishes based on their favorite art pieces producing a gallery of mouthwatering dishes.

“Megaworld Lifestyle Malls is known for its chef-driven restaurants; they are a big part of what makes the dining scene here so dynamic. This summer, we wanted to harness the creativity of the chefs through this innovative art-meets-food campaign. What they came up with is truly inspired and truly delicious and so we are inviting families to try these unique dishes, available only here this summer at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls,” said Kevin L. Tan, First Vice President and Commercial Division Head of Megaworld Corporation.

For the Newport Mall, Gourmet Masterpieces’ art dishes will be available at RWM signature restaurants including Café Maxims, Impressions, Passion and Ginzadon, as well as Newport Mall’s Crisostomo. RWM’s Gourmet Masterpieces include Impression Foie Gras from Impressions, Deep Fried Lapu Lapu Xi Yan Style from Passion, and Dragon Sushi Roll from Ginzadon, among others.

Meanwhile, catch EPIC SUMMER’s Sundown Sounds featuring the country’s biggest bands such as Sandwich, Up Dharma Down, Franco, Amistad, Itchyworms, Moonstar 88, Join the Club, The Dawn, Sponge Cola,  Save Me Hollywood,  Tanya Markova, and Indio I at Newport Mall Plaza until April 30th.
