The Likhang Habi Textile Fair opens at 10am on Friday, October 25, 2013 and continues through October 26 & 27 during mall hours at Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive. Do check it out.
This is HABI's, The Philippine Textile Council, third annual year-end market encounter featuring Filipino weaves from north to south. It will showcase Abel blankets, native bags, placemats and napkins from Ilocos; Hablon, jusi, pinya and Sinamay from the Visayas; T’nalak from Lake Sebu; Yakan weaving; ready to wear apparels, fans, antique jewelry and other accessories. Special features are Pure silks from La Union, TepiƱa from Puerto Princesa and casual dresses embroidered and embellished by T’boli women. There will also be limited pieces of hand woven 100% cotton cloth.
