If you're going perfume shopping, you need to allow yourself enough time to decide on what fragrance to buy. No impulse buying! You need to give yourself time to smell.
When buying perfumes, narrow your choices by spraying the perfume first on a piece of paper (or what they call blotting papers). By doing this, you can sample as many perfumes as you like and the scents won't clash together. Wait a few minutes, until the fragrance is completely dry, and then smell it. Better still, toss the paper in your bag and come back to it later. If you like how it smells on the paper, then, you can now try it on.
