In light of the role social media played in sustaining the operations of food service providers during the pandemic, USDA spearheaded the Fab Food Finds promo to help accelerate food sales through the use of online marketing tools. This initiative aims to help Filipino food service providers boost revenues for their signature dishes made with the finest U.S. ingredients and strengthen the USDA’s partnership with the food service industry.
“As a long-time partner of the Philippines, we hope this timely initiative will help bring appetites back for the delicious culinary creations of local caterers and restaurants,” said Agricultural Counselor Morgan Haas, U.S. Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service. “In turn, we hope this will help bolster the industry’s efforts towards recovery.”
As the Philippines’s top supplier of agricultural goods, the United States through the USDA has a long-standing commitment to the local food industry and engages collaborators in various programs such as technical assistance and market development to ensure that they remain competitive and profitable.
The complementary dish is valid for dine-in, take-out, delivery, or pick-up transactions* until November 27, 2020 or until supplies last. *Availability of dine-in option will depend on current operations of food service partner.
